Leaves

Leaves 2

Ephemeral maps
Of blood and mud

Green-apple smudge
Of meadow dawn

Lead me into the toxic
Forest leaf by leaf

Under the marble brain
Of heaven

The cast-off borders
Have soft spikes

Paper texts whisper
"Death, rush, flood, thicket"

Geography of energy
Transcribed by the sun

The science of pulverized bone of
Pulse piles kicked into dust

Even the carpet grows
Weary of its splendor

The divine weaver
Has no itinerary

The crux is larger
Than the mechanization of sex

Corruption of the soul
Facing the light

Bronze faces falling
In the mist

Apricot sky that swallowed
Clouds of rose, clots of rust

Fragile paper hearts
Endless soar of brilliant veins

Fractals of hair, skin,
Blossomed lives

In the end the passion
Won't matter

Only the colors of words
Will remain

To become a
Legacy

Dancing
Beyond stars
